The position supervisor unit is used in combination with the sensor to implement elevator and safety functions according to EN81-20/-21/-50. The absolute car position is determined 100% slip-free via the Ants sensor. The position supervisor unit evaluates the safe position feedback and triggers the required safety functions via safety relays together with the elevator control.
